It’s safe to say Halle Berry is in a good space.

“I just feel happy, you know? I’ve arrived at a really good place once again, that’s always good news,” the brunette bombshell recently told Extra. “Down time, dark times, don’t last forever — the sun is out again and it feels great.”

Though it’s been nearly one year since the actress, 50, filed for divorce from “Revenge’s” Olivier Martinez, sources claim the former couple has continued to take family vacations with their children and have yet to take action on their filing. However, despite rumors of a reconciliation, a source close to the pair told People the relationship is definitely a wrap: “She definitely has no interest in getting back with Olivier unless his temper and controlling nature change. And there’s no indication that either will, so it seems that they will remain separate.”

As for her kids, Berry told Extra that Nahla, 8, and Maceo, 3, are “fantastic.” Watching them grow up so fast, “Time stops for no one, nothing,” she explained.

Meanwhile, in a document filed September 1, a L.A. Superior Court court clerk warned the estranged lovers to act quickly as their case could be dismissed.

As previously reported, Berry and Martinez called it quits after more than two years of marriage, last fall. “It is with a heavy heart that we have come to the decision to divorce,” the couple said in a joint statement to People at the time. “We move forward with love and respect for one another and the shared focus of what is best for our son. We wish each other nothing but happiness in life and we hope that you respect our and, most importantly, our children’s privacy as we go through this difficult period.”

Up next, Berry is set to star in the upcoming thriller Kidnap, hitting theaters in December. She also nabbed a quick cameo in Kevin Hart’s recent stand-up movie Kevin Hart: What Now? “I love that man! So much fun,” she said of the comedian. “So much fun. It was a chance to sort of play with comedy a little bit. Who better to do that with than Kevin Hart, right?”
