Rapper Kanye West is resting in his California home after being released from UCLA Medical Center Wednesday. The father of two was admitted over a week ago for exhaustion and after he had a meltdown at his personal trainer Harley Pasternak’s Beverly Grove, California home. Speculators claimed West was acting erratically and may have attacked Pasternak.

One of Pasternak’s neighbors Kaye Switzer told Daily Mail, “I was walking my dogs and as I walked up the street I saw SUVs, security guards and people everywhere – all looking so serious … I saw fire trucks parked across the top of the street and I saw Harley standing outside looking so serious. There was a car out the front, which said it belonged to a home call private doctor. Everyone standing around for about an hour and then the police arrived … One of the fire trucks backed right up Harley’s drive – you could see him [Kanye] coming out [of the home] on a gurney [a wheeled medical stretcher].”

The odd encounter followed West’s well-documented onstage rants at a San Jose, California concert on November 17, where he expressed his support for President-elect Donald Trump and said Black people should stop talking about racism, and a Sacramento stop where he went on about Jay-Z and Beyonce hurting his feelings, performed just two songs and exited the stage. Soon after, Live Nation announced that his Saint Pablo Tour was canceled.

While the events and subsequent stint at UCLA Medical Center set social media trolls off, claiming West was crazy and having a psychotic break, when it was revealed that he may have been placed on a 5150 involuntary hold, most changed their tune, hoping he was getting the rest and help he needed.

Mother-in-law Kris Jenner told Extra, “He’s exhausted. He’s just really tired … He’s had a grueling tour and it’s been a grind, so he just needs to rest.”

A source close to the rapper told Page Six, “He’s just exhausted. He’s been working around the clock on fashion design, both on his own line and the Adidas line. He’s a notorious workaholic, so balancing both that work — which is extremely important to him — and the rigors of the tour every night . . . really wore him out.”

News of West’s release is positive, and doctor’s revealed that his “indestructible” wife Kim Kardashian West has been by his side the entire time.
