Is there trouble in paradise for Kanye West and Kim Kardashian?

Though West, 39, who experienced a psychotic break just a week ago has been released from the hospital, the “Faded” rapper has yet to return home to his wife and kids.

“He is receiving outpatient care elsewhere with a medical team,” a source tells People of West’s condition, following his treatment for undisclosed mental health issues after leaving UCLA’s Resnick Neuropsychiatric Hospital earlier this week. “Kim still seems concerned but is supportive. They don’t know how long Kanye will need outpatient care.”

Meanwhile, a second source revealed Kardashian was “overwhelmed” by the situation and concerned about the rapper’s relationship with their children, North, 3, and Saint, 11 months. “She is very worried about the kids being around Kanye,” the insider added, noting that neither of their children had accompanied their mother to visit their father.

In spite of it all, thoughts concerning the pair’s marital status appear to be the same across the board. “There are frustrations and problems, like any relationship, but they love each other deeply,” a Kardashian insider told the entertainment news outlet.

As previously reported, West’s hospitalization occurred shortly after he canceled the remainder of his Saint Pablo tour and carried over into the Thanksgiving holiday. Though reports have been conflicting, with some attributing West’s erratic behavior to “severe paranoia” and “hallucinations” brought on by a “lack of sleep” due to an intense workload. Others suggested the episode was triggered by stressing over wife Kardashian-West’s armed robbery in Paris just weeks ago.

“He pushed himself too much,” a source told ET at the time. “The Paris incident unsettled everyone, [but it] unsettled him the most. He had this anxiety that everyone around him was trying to get him.” However, later reports explained how the anniversary of his mother, Donda’s death — marked by his Nov. 20 show at the L.A. Forum — was what really triggered West’s breakdown.

While it appears we’ll never know, one thing’s for sure, we’re happy to see he’s making progress. Show him some support in the comment section below.
