Dae Dae, PNB Rock headline ‘Birth of a New Nation’ tour

The Birth of a New Nation tour, sponsored by 300 Entertainment and World Star Hip Hop, took Atlanta by storm this past Saturday at Vinyl Theatre. The theater was packed with fans of Shy Glizzy, Dae Dae, PNB Rock and London on Da Track. The more than 300 attendees were lit and ready to have a good time watching their favorite artists perform..


After the DJ played a few tracks, the host of the show, Fly Guy DC, did a spectacular job of engaging the crowd. He invited the kids to come up on the stage and dance to “JuJu On That Beat” and kept the audience hyped between sets.


Mauie The King Jr. from Atlanta, Money Makin Meech from Chicago and many others performed during the concert. There were also dance performances.

PNB Rock came on set at 11 p.m and performed his two hit songs, “Selfish” and “Playa No More.” Rock told rolling out that his favorite song to perform is “Selfish” because he gets a good response from the ladies. He also performed “Bet on It” and “What You Want.” Between songs, PNB Rock also introduced artists Loso Loaded and Sahbabii.


“The energy in Atlanta is a different type of energy. They interact with me and I love that.  I love the ladies in Atlanta, too,” Rock said.  He also said that he wants his fans to turn up, drink a little, smoke a little and just turn up because it’s all good energy and good vibes.

Producer London on Da Track came out and hyped up the crowd with a few hit songs he produced, such as “Lifestyle” and “Ain’t About the Money.”

Fans went crazy and instantly pulled out their phones as soon as Dae Dae started his set at 11:40 p.m. He brought his entire entourage on stage and formally introduced his children to the audience. Dae Dae performed his two hit songs, ”Wat U Mean” and “Spend It.” He also performed a few more songs and brought the night to an end.

Although Shy Glizzy was present, he did not perform that night; once the audience was informed that he wasn’t going to perform, many walked out of the venue The show ended shortly after midnight.

The Birth of a New Nation tour came to Atlanta and left a lasting impression on the city. Be on the lookout for new music from Philly artist PNB Rock and Atlanta artist Dae Dae.
