The 2017 Grammy nominations are here and for the first time in history, the Recording Academy have made streaming only recordings eligible for Grammy consideration. This bodes well for many independent artists across the globe. Chance the Rapper is one of the first to benefit from this with a host of nominations. Chance has been nominated for Best New Artist.

Last year we mentioned BJ The Chicago Kid as one to watch and he has been nominated for three Grammys.
