Denzel Washington, ‘Fences’ cast attend screening at Smithsonian

A special screening of the upcoming film Fences was held at the National Museum of African-American History and Culture – The Oprah Winfrey Theatre in Washington, DC on Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2016.


Fences is directed by Denzel Washington from a screenplay by August Wilson, adapted from Wilson’s Pulitzer Prize-winning play. The film stars Denzel Washington, Viola Davis, Jovan Adepo, Stephen McKinley Henderson, Russell Hornsby, Mykelti Williamson and Saniyya Sidney. The film is produced by Scott Rudin, Denzel Washington and Todd Black. It opens in theaters on December 25, 2016.
