With slogans like “What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas” and the nickname “Sin City,” during the holiday season, Las Vegas is certainly more popular for those who have been naughty as opposed to those who have been nice. But Vegas has plenty of offerings for those who have been nice, as well. Here are 10 things that you should enjoy in Vegas during the holiday season.

  1. Drake at Hakkasan Las Vegas Nightclub New Year’s Eve. Drake is arguably the hottest artist in Hip-Hop today, and the Canadian superstar will bring in 2017 at arguably the hottest nightclub in Las Vegas since its opening in 2013. Except Drake to be joined by some of his famous friends at the hotspot, perhaps even by his on again, off again girlfriend who hails from Barbados.
  2. The King and Queen of Hearts Tour. One of the hottest tours of 2016 hits Las Vegas when Maxwell and Mary J. Blige take the stage at the brand new T-Mobile Arena. The billion-dollar state-of-the-art complex opened in April, and has become the premier Vegas venue for grand tours and sporting events.
  3. Ice Skating at Holiday at the Park. Yes, I know Las Vegas is in the desert and you have thoughts of extremely hot temperatures, but average highs in the city during the month of December range from freezing to the 50s. Nestled in between the Las Vegas Strip and the T-Mobile Arena, you can ice skate in Las Vegas through the holiday season.
  4. Boyz II Men at The Mirage. The iconic R&B group recorded some of the biggest R&B hits of all time like “End of the Road” and “I’ll Make Love to You.” The now three-man group made up of Wanya Morris, Shawn Stockman and Nathan Morris still have their legendary voices, and surprisingly, the dance moves, that made them stars in the 90s.
  5. Michael Jackson ONE by Cirque du Soleil at Mandalay Bay. What happens when you combine the legendary moves and music of Michael Jackson and Cirque du Soleil? You get Michael Jackson ONE, a fusion of acrobatics that Cirque du Soleil is known for combined with dance and the music of the King of Pop.
  6. Buca di Beppo Italian Restaurant. I discovered this family-style restaurant chain in Las Vegas a couple of years ago, and I try to always go back. With delicious lunch specials starting at $8.99, Buca specializes in large dishes to be shared by the entire table. My personal favorite is the Shrimp Fra Diavolo, but offers Italian staples like Chicken Parmigiana, and spaghetti with eye-opening half-pound meatballs. Two locations on the Las Vegas Strip at Excalibur and Bally’s.
  7. The return of Ronda Rousey. Since losing to Holly Holm at UFC 193 last year, the MMA superstar turned actress Ronda Rousey has been outside of the octagon. That changes on Friday, December 30, 2016, when she returns for UFC 207 to face Amanda Nunes at T-Mobile Arena with the eyes of the sports and entertainment world watching.
  8. Bruno Mars at The Park Theater. The yet-to-be opened 5,200-seat theater, nestled in between T-Mobile Arena and the Las Vegas Strip and inside Monte Carlo Resort and Casino opens in mid-December and will feature the “24K Magic” singer takes the stage on December 30 and 31.
  9. Kendrick Lamar New Year’s Eve at Drai’s Nightclub. Located inside The Cromwell Las Vegas, Drai’s is perhaps the hottest urban nightclub in Las Vegas, with recent events featuring a birthday party for Fabolous and performances by Rae Sremmurd and T.I.  Kendrick Lamar should keep the place packed on New Year’s Eve.
  10. A stroll down the Las Vegas Strip. No trip to Vegas is complete without a stroll down the famed Las Vegas Strip. All of the entertainment isn’t contained inside, and I can guarantee you will see many of your favorite superheroes as well as some of your favorite entertainers. And with drinking legal in Sin City, you can take that stroll with your favorite alcoholic beverage too.
