Tina Knowles’ love for health and fitness is everything you need to get up and moving.
With help from celebrity fitness and health experts Jeanette Jenkins and Patrick Goudeau, the 62-year-old mother of three revealed she’s hard at work, building up a sweat — likely getting a jump on her New Year’s resolutions. While her daughter, Beyoncé is known for her curves, if anything, the matriarch’s recent round of impressive workout clips is proof she [Bey] gets it from her mama.
Earlier this week, Knowles, draped in Ivy Park showed off a simple leg routine, complete with ankle weights. She was also very vocal about her love-hate relationship with training dirty. “Tuesday morning workout with @MsJeanetteJenkins This weight stuff tho! It pisses me off! 😀,” she wrote via Instagram on Tuesday, Dec. 13.
Days prior, Knowles can be seen knocking out a light push-up combination, with daughter Yonce’s “Formation” blasting in the background. “That damn Patrick always trying to cheat 😀 — too early in the morning for that mess ❤️,” read the caption.
Whether it’s leg day or time for a little upper body work, Knowles is focused on trying to look and feel her best. Of course, a solid support system — i.e. husband Richard Lawson — doesn’t hurt the cause. “My baby (Richard) in the background ‘motivatin’ that’s our word for motivating,” she shared via Instagram while sharing a video from her workout. “Patrick and Jeanette are getting carried away with those ankle weights!”
However, it’s safe to say that ankle weights aren’t the biggest offender. “I got a lot to be mad about 😡 I am mad at Patrick For these d— rubber bands on my legs this is hard enough as it is!!!” she wrote, referencing some resistance training. “Thursday work out!!!!” she added.
In spite of it all, we have to admit, Knowles is looking better than ever. You better work, girl!
