Cuba Gooding Jr. is paying it forward and taking it back to his roots, at the same time.

During the 2017 Golden Globes, “ET” caught up with the 49-year-old actor and Denzel Washington, where the dynamic duo celebrated their charity of their choice — the Boys & Girls Clubs of America — with some bubbly, for the media outlet’s Moet & Chandon Toast for a Cause, in partnership with Moet.

“Cuba Gooding Jr. is a distinguished Boys & Girls Clubs of America Alumni Hall of Fame honoree. For years, Cuba has been an incredible supporter and advocate for the youth development non-profit organization,” the Boys & Girls Club of America told “ET” in a statement.

“As an alum of Boys & Girls Club in Tustin, California, Cuba found a safe place where he was introduced to dance, an opportunity that provided him a platform to explore his gifts as a performing artist,” the statement continued. “Throughout his career, Cuba has continued to lend his time to bring awareness to issues that impact youth today — sharing his story as a Club alum to inspire the next generation to find their Great Future at a Boys & Girls Club.”

Considering that the Boys & Girls Clubs have been helping children discover their potential for over 150 years, it should be no surprise that Gooding and Washington are just two of many celebrity alumni (and responsible citizens) to successfully complete the program. For a list of some of the Clubs’ most famous award-winning actors, athletes and leaders, hit the flip.
