Hadiza Lawal (@wovenblends) and Nick Barney (@n.effect) are among the dozen artists who have inspired a new temporary gallery now open at the World of CocaCola.

Though she stays busy pursuing an MA in mass communications from Georgia State University, Lawal finds time to publish Woven Blends, a lifestyle blog documenting her dual passions of cooking and fashion. Born in England and raised in Nigeria, Lawal is proud to call the city of Atlanta her second home and said, “My approach to this project was filled with my love for Coca-Cola as well as for Atlanta. These images I captured reflect sharing with the community and are reminders that a bottle of Coca-Cola is as sharable as it is satisfyingly refreshing.”

Photography may have started as a hobby for this native Atlantan, but it quickly turned into a passion, and Nick Barney aims to spark emotion through each image he captures. This approach is evident in his #ShareaCokewithATL photos, which depict key Atlanta landmarks that Barney says, “mean something to me. Piedmont Park is always alive with the feeling of the city, Skyview Atlanta is a joy to see, and so many memories have been made in the Georgia Dome.”

Each photograph from the 12 creative, entrepreneurial Atlantans, who are both capturing and cultivating the unique spirit of the city, can be found in the “Share a Coke with Atlanta” gallery that celebrates the connection between Atlanta, the beverage that was born here, and the talented people who call the city home.

Take the tour.
