Eye Candy Creations partnered with rolling out magazine to throw a posh cover party and product launch for actress-model Eva Marcille’s new eyewear line, First Ave Eyewear. On Saturday, Jan. 28, 2017, Atlanta’s best and brightest fashion bloggers and media joined industry tastemakers to celebrate Marcille’s newest endeavor and her beautiful rolling out cover, which hit newsstands last week.

Guests gushed over the eclectic line that showcases trendy and architectural shapes in a variety of fresh colors. “Our goal was to give Atlanta the first peak at the line and hear feedback. Instead, we just about sold out of the product. It was a welcome surprise,” said Tiffany Williams, founder of Eye Candy Creations and partner of Marcille. The two collaborated to create the new collection.

In addition to enjoying the new line, guests were treated to liquor from Hatfield & McCoy, Legend Peach Falsetto, and Tiny’s Tequila. Selfiecookie.com created cookies featuring the former “America’s Next Top Model” winner’s First Ave Eyewear campaign. Black Chef’s Network provided food and Jaxon Pastries provided all of the desserts. DJ Kix provided an upbeat soundtrack for the evening that kept guests on their toes.

Rolling out magazine unveiled Marcille’s most recent cover and displayed several additional shots from her recent shoot for the magazine.  Dewayne Rogers, creative director for rolling out, suggested creating magic with Marcille was par for the course. “This is the third time we’ve shot Eva for rolling out and it just gets better every time. Rolling out has always supported Eva in her endeavors and we will continue.”
Wearing a champagne colored sheath and distressed denim jacket, Marcille was all sexy smiles and tousled blonde locks arriving promptly to greet guests and chat with media regarding her line. “I was so nervous about this line but it is amazing to be received this way. As a model, I’ve represented other lines and brands but for this to be my first attempt at doing my own line it means a lot to have this reception,” she shared.
First Ave Eyewear has several launch events scheduled in select cities. The next launch event is scheduled in NYC during Fashion Week as well as pop-up shops scheduled for Superbowl LI weekend in Houston and Dallas.
