On Wednesday, March 1, Chicago’s top movers and shakers came out in large numbers to view the premiere of Lifetime’s new reality show “Bringing up Ballers.”

The show is about four mothers who are determined to see their high school children play in the NBA.

Rolling out spoke with Peyton Wilburn about her thoughts on balancing her successful career and working overtime to ensure her son is the next NBA superstar.

“My son and this television project are my primary focus right now. As a parent, sometimes, we have to put everything aside and focus solely on their future,” said Wilburn, owner of Truth Italian Restaurant in Bronzeville, Chicago.

The show has the perfect blend of lessons and drama. Tune in Wednesdays at 9 p.m. on Lifetime.
