Chris Brown has long been a celebrity that has been regarded as troubled and dysfunctional, and he’s done little to absolve himself of his negative reputation thanks to his numerous blowups, arrests and drug issues. It certainly didn’t help his image this past week when a report claimed that Brown’s friends had revealed to reporters that Brown is battling severe and dangerous drug addictions. Now, the latest reports claim the LAPD, who Brown has had numerous run-ins with, wants to hold an intervention for him.

According to reports, the branch of the LAPD that covers the San Fernando Valley neighborhood where Brown lives is tired of all of the complaints from neighbors and guests about Brown, which include noise, drugs, reckless driving, assault and several other offenses.

Law enforcement sources say that the LAPD wants to invite Brown to come into their station and explain to him the gravity of all of the complaints they get about the pop singer.

When asked why the police would extend such an invitation to Brown, the source allegedly replied, “Chris is a chronic problem who takes up a tremendous amount of our resources.”

The reports say that Brown isn’t legally obligated to accept the invitation from the LAPD and we doubt that he’d willingly meet up with police. However, a healthy relationship with the police might be helpful to Brown considering Billboard’s recent report, in which a number of alleged close friends to Brown claimed the singer is suffering from severe and dangerous addictions to substances like Xanax, Molly, lean and other drugs.

Not only that, but reports recently revealed that Brown’s ex-girlfriend, Karrueche Tran, is seeking a permanent restraining order against Brown after she accused him of physically assaulting her and telling “a few people that he was going to kill me.”

Well, what do you think of this latest Brown drama? Let us know in the comments.
