Robin Thicke marks his 40th birthday with a touching tribute to his late father, Alan Thicke.

“Missing the OG today. First Bday without him. Love you Pops,” he wrote, alongside a selfie featuring “The Bold and the Beautiful” star Alan Thicke sitting next to his grandson, Julian, who had dozed off.

Thicke, who is currently embroiled in a nasty custody battle over his son Julian, also shared an epic throwback image of his pops, cradling him as a child, as he was fast asleep. “That’s me! Haha,” wrote the “Lost Without U” crooner.

Previously reported, the actor, 69, died suddenly on December 13 while playing hockey with his son Carter. At the time, TMZ reported that he suffered a heart attack. Though the actor, best known his role of Dr. Jason Seaver in the long-running series “Growing Pains” was transported to Providence St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Burbank, California, he was pronounced dead upon arrival, around noon.

On December 19, family and friends, including the cast of “Growing Pains,” gathered to mourn the loss.

Meanwhile, on what would have been Thicke’s 70th birthday, — March 1 — Alan’s wife, Tanya Thicke, and Carter posted tributes of their own via social media, also including throwback images of their late loved one.

“Happy Birthday to my angel, #2016 joint birthday celebration,” wrote Tanya, who is the teen’s stepmom, alongside a photo of the couple at a romantic candlelit joint birthday dinner last year. “They say 2 Pisces are internal soulmates…You are so missed my love……”

“Missing you and our times together extra today. Enjoy your birthday margarita and rhubarb pie up there, relaxing in your robe watching ESPN. You are and always will be the man. Happy Birthday Pops,” wrote Carter.
