$10K reward: 16 shot, 1 father of 3 dead, Cameo Night Club in Cincinnati

O’Bryan Spikes, 27, was mortally wounded in a shootout at at Cameo Night Club in Cincinnati’s East End neighborhood early Sunday, March 26.

Cincinnati Police Chief Eliot Isaac received a report of the mass shooting just after 1 a.m. What police describe as a “chaotic crime scene,” left very few witnesses. Many people feared for their lives and fled the scene.


Assistant Police Chief Paul Neudigate says several of the victims have life-threatening injuries.

“We are in the middle of a very horrific situation that occurred at the nightclub with multiple victims,” Neudigate said. “It’s going to be a long night for our homicide units to investigate.”


According to WLWT, of the 15 other victims, two are critical condition, three in serious condition and for are in stable condition at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center and two more victims are in stable condition at Christ Hospital.

“The conflict is believed to have begun between specific groups or individuals earlier in the day, escalating and ultimately leading to this tragedy occurring at the nightclub,” says Cincinnati city manager Harry Black.

Officials believe all the shots were from multiple firearms. No arrests have been made and the investigation is underway. Fortunately for investigators, surveillance cameras were inside the club at the time of the shooting. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms is helping Cincinnati police with this investigation.

Cincinnati restaurateur Jeff Ruby is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible for the shooting death, he tweeted Sunday, March 26.
