BET Awards weekend is here.


With the annual ceremony, honoring African Americans in music, acting, sports, and entertainment fast approaching, here’s everything you need to know about the big show:


1. “Saturday Night Live!” star Leslie Jones, is slated to bring the big laughs as your hostesss with the mostess. She shared updates on social media:

2. Bruno Mars will be opening the show. Acts including A$AP Rocky, Big Sean, Chris Brown, DJ Khaled, El Debarge, French Montana, Future, Gucci Mane, Kamasi Washington, Lil Wayne, Mary J. Blige, Maxwell, Migos, New Edition, Post Malone, Roman Gianarthur, Swae Lee, Tamar Braxton, SZA, Trey Songz and Xscape are also expected to take the stage.

3. Beyoncé runs the world with seven nominations, placing her at the top of the board. Coming in close on her heels is Mars with five nods in categories like Best Male R&B/Pop Artist, Video Director of the Year, Video of the Year and Album of the Year, followed by Solange, who’s nominated for four awards. Other notable nominations include Chance the Rapper and Migos, who are also up for four nominations.

4. The presenter’s list is chock full of colorful characters including Cardi B, Issa Rae, Jamie Foxx, La La Anthony, the cast of Universal Pictures’ Girls Trip (Regina Hall, Tiffany Haddish, Jada Pinkett Smith and Queen Latifah), Trevor Noah, Robin Thede, Cari Champion and Demetrius Shipp Jr. and “Black-sh” star Yara Shahidi.

5. You can watch it all go down on June 25 at 8 p.m. EST on BET from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. Viewers can also live stream the event on BET.com and YouTube.
