Lil’ Kim may have come to L.A. this weekend to have fun at the annual BET Awards, but according to news reports, the Queen Bee has landed in some legal trouble in the last few days over accusations that she might have caused a robbery over a house rental that went wrong.

According to the reports, Kim rented a house in L.A. this weekend for a BET weekend party. Sources say that Kim and her team arrived at the house around 2 a.m. last night, but when they examined the house upon their arrival, Kim did not find the place to her liking. Kim demanded to get a full refund from either the owner or the property manager.

Unfortunately for Kim, sources say that her demand for a refund was refused and an argument ensued between her and the owners. The cops were called to the scene to de-escalate the situation and help with the refund. However, the cops deemed the matter a civil issue and left after explaining that there was nothing they could do.

The sources say that Kim and her crew left afterward as well but for the owners of the home, the night was, unfortunately, far from over. According to the reports, around 4 a.m., a group of people showed up to the rental house with ski masks and weapons and proceeded to burglarize the home.

The puzzling thing, though, is that the burglars allegedly made off with Kim’s deposit check and cash, which was reportedly at least $20K. The sources also say that the burglars not only stole the deposit but they also slashed the victim’s car tires and stole a hubcap.

The sources say that the LAPD has officially launched a robbery investigation regarding the case.

Well, what do you think of the robbery accusations? Do you think it’s suspicious that the rental home was allegedly burglarized the same night of the refund argument or do you think this was an unfortunate coincidence? Let us know in the comments.
