Ludacris Launches Cognac Brand Conjure in Chicago During Birthday Celebration

Imagine a beautiful fall afternoon in the South Loop area of Chicago and a crowd of excited fans have gathered for the opportunity to share in Chris “Ludacris” Bridges most recent venture and perhaps one of his most popular — Conjure cognac. Well it really happened, the Grammy Award-winning recording artist, affectionately known as ‘Luda’ has launched his own brand of cognac and it only makes since that he would have a bottle signing in Chicago where the fine opaque has been embraced by cognac connoisseurs around the city. “I went out to Cognac, France to help craft this brand myself, so I’m intimately involved with Conjure. To see it take off the way it has in Chicago, which is the number one market, is a beautiful thing. No words can explain how I feel about that, because people want a quality product and that is what they are getting,” explained a jubilant Ludacris.

Binny’s Beverage Depot provided the backdrop for Conjure’s official entree into Chicagoland’s collection of top shelf liquorsand  everyone from management to media — and, of course, the fans  — were both eager and ecstatic to hear from Luda about the cognac and get his autograph on a bottle.

The Conjure launch was just one of many events that took place during Ludacris’s return to Chicago for his birthday weekend celebration from September 10-12. The weekend of festivities culminated with Ludacris performing live during his party at the famed Park West. 

It doesn’t appear that Luda can miss when it comes to making a positive impact on any venture he’s involved in. From music and acting to food and beverage with his STRAITS restaurant in Atlanta, he’s got the midas touch. Ludacris also gives back to young people, year around through “The Ludacris Foundation”. –al weems
