“By the time I was 13 years old my mothers house was packed on Saturday with neighborhood adults and children waiting to get their weave, relaxers, finger waves and my signature cuts and special made moisturizing conditioner,” Tiffany recalls of her Midwest upbringing. My mother eventually shut down my home hair care business and I enrolled in cosmetology school and began working in the salon.”
Before landing in the ATL, Tiffany perfected her craft in America’s glam cities like Los Angeles, Miami and New York, conducting training classes and teaching weave techniques to stylists. Stacking those chips in her beloved trade enabled the versatile Moore subsidize her education, degree, license and certifications in law (paralegal), banking and finance, production, broadcasting and communication, marketing and many more.
Eventually, Tiffany worked with Equifax in risk management and at a law firm doing paralegal work. But then Tiffany’s destiny ringing in her hear — better yet, in her soul — and she eventually had to answer fate. She is glad she did.
“Walking out on faith. This gave me the feeling of freedom and my dreams became vivid and seemed to be within my reach,” Tiffany said. “It was only a matter of time before we walked out on faith. I didn’t decide to do hair, God told me it was my ministry and I have seen and transformed women’s lives with the works of my hands. It’s true ‘hair is a woman’s glory.’ Women come in some days feeling down and going through all kinds of turmoil in their day to day lives but when they leave Sister to Siter Hair Design, they leave with confidence, sexiness and great self -esteem. It makes us feel good inside.”
