NFL linebacker Prince Shembo, 23, had a job when he woke up on Friday but by late Friday evening, the 6 foot 2 inches, 258 pound baller was in tears posting $15,000 bond at the Gwinnett County Sheriff’s Office for “felony animal cruelty.” The fourth round draft pick from Notre Dame was charged with beating his ex-girlfriend’s dog. On April 15, Denicia Williams’ Yorkie, Dior, died at the hands of Shembo. The necropsy revealed lots of extensive injuries on the dog’s inside. Williams reported the crime to the police on April 19, saying when she left her dog alone with Shembo at his apartment in the Mall of Georgia area, he killed the toy pet.
