Bishop Eddie Long Crowned a King by Rabbi Ralph Messer

On Sunday, Jan.29, Bishop Eddie Long, the disgraced pastor of New Birth Missionary Baptist Church in suburban Atlanta, invited Rabbi Ralph Messer to fellowship with his congregation. Messer wrapped Long in the scrolls of a Torah, sang a prayer and declared the bishop a king.

Long remained stone-faced throughout the ceremony. What was going through his mind? We think he was hoping his remaining parishioners would be so awed by his newly conferred royal status that they would forget all about the fact that their spiritual leader paid $15 million to settle a case brought by four young men who accused him of sexual coercion.

    what is this?

  • Joint heir with JESUS CHRIST

All of the players involved in this farce have no fear of GOD. This is spiritual wickedness in high places spoken in The Word.

Ralph Messer committed a sin by anointing Eddie Long as King with the Torah Scroll and a Jewish Tallith.  Eddie does NOT keep the TORAH!   The purpose of the Tallith is to remind the wearer to keep the Torah of YAHWEH.  The fact that they met on Sunday and not on the previous day (Sabbath Day) is a clear sign that Eddie Long teaches his church to violate the Sabbath Day, which is the seventh day, a commandment of God!  Ralph and Eddie committed heresy against God Almighty!

I can understand the uproar from the 14:40min clip on youtube.com. However, I think it would be useful if everyone would watch the whole sermon that Rabbi Ralph Messer did so that you can put the whole situation into context. The title being, “Taking Torah to the Nations.” – With Rabbi Ralph Messer can be seen on the main page of torah.tv. You be able to hear Rabbi’s commentary on the whole situation including his apologies for the misunderstanding.
    Shalom

Messy Ralph Messer Response by Michael Rood
Hebrew Roots teacher Michael Rood responds to a video of a self-proclaimed Messianic Jewish Rabbi anointing Bishop Eddie Long, who recently settled a multi-million dollar lawsuit for allegedly molesting teenage boys.

Michael sets the record straight on so-called Messianic Rabbis and exposes “Rabbi” Ralph Messer as a fraud. Find out why Messer can’t read the Hebrew Scriptures and what he has failed to understand in the scriptures because of it.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=ePfpO5ZjhaE

    Michael, citing scripture:
    * Explains why Messianic Judaism and Messianic Rabbis are oxymorons
    * Teaches on the true meaning of the word “rabbi” and what Yeshua said about calling each other by that name
    * Tells us what Yeshua had to say about the man-made rules and regulations set in place by the Pharisees – the same rules and regulations that Messianic Jews regard today
“If you don’t know the scriptures, you can easily be taken in by these con artists out there who are making their money off of the new Hebrew Roots movement; this is exactly what Messer has been doing,” Michael explains.

Watch as Michael breaks down how Messianic Judaism feigns a true Messianic religion, but in its beliefs rejects the very teachings of the Messiah it claims to follow.
