There’s a plan for our lives. For those who have yet to figure out your purpose and how to fulfill your destiny, don’t worry. Find comfort in knowing that Our Heavenly Father will provide clarity and direction. In our daily travails, it may seem that distractions are too many to bypass and burdens too heavy to bear; we must remember the Creator’s promise and wait with expectancy. We must have hope.

From the Old Testament, in Psalm 71:14* when David declares, “But as for me, I will always have hope; I will praise you more and more,to the New Testament’s Epistle of Romans 5:5*, where the Apostle Paul says, “And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us,and the Pastoral Epistle, the book of Titus 1:1-2,* that affirms: Paul, a servant of God and an apostle of Jesus Christ for the faith of God’s elect and the knowledge of the truth that leads to godliness a faith and knowledge resting on the hope of eternal life, which God, who does not lie, promised before the beginning of time,” rest assured that the most Holy One will deliver on His promise: expect with confidence.

During an invocation at the National Urban League’s 2012 Conference, Bishop Paul Morton, senior pastor of Changing A Generation Full Gospel Baptist Church and co-pastor of Greater St. Stephen Full Gospel Baptist Church, delivered a prayer of hope. Listen here for your blessing. –yvette caslin
