Celebs React To Chad And Evelyn’s Domestic Abuse News

After news broke that there were marital issues between Chad Johnson and his new wife Evelyn Lozada, a number of celebrities took to Twitter to offer their reaction. As previously reported, Johnson, formerly Chad Ochocinco, was arrested Saturday after police say he head butted his wife during an argument. There have been preliminary reports about the cause of the fight including allegations that Lozada found a receipt for condoms in their vehicle. No word yet on if that story is actually true.

What has been confirmed however, is that several celebs have made public reactions to the news including Pilar Sanders who took to her Twitter to make a subliminal joke about the situation. “Bob and weave ladies, bob a.n.d. weave,” wrote Deion Sanders’ estranged spouse Sunday.

After being blasted for her insensitivity however, Pilar corrected herself and released a statement supporting victims of domestic violence. “Domestic violence Is no joke. I don’t taunt the abused, especially My Beautiful Sisters. (been there),” said Sanders. “I do however Support and Encourage my Ladies to be Strong Physically, Mentally and Spiritually,” she added.

It’s interesting that Pilar would joke about domestic abuse considering that just months ago she was accused of assaulting Deion Sanders during an argument. A witness would later claim that Pilar was defending herself against the ex-NFLer who struck her in the head with a statue, nonetheless she was taken into police custody.
