George Zimmerman Granted Bond — Again

George Zimmerman Granted Bond -- Again

Despite having his bond revoked for lying to the court and conspiring with his jailbird wife to move more than $100,000 from one bank account to another, a Florida judge granted killer George Zimmerman a $1 million bail, the media is reporting. Zimmerman is charged with second-degree murder for fatally shooting Trayvon Martin.

Zimmerman would be required to put up 10 percent to be freed. It was not immediately clear how long it would take for Zimmernan to leave jail. The judge ruled that Zimmerman must remain in Seminole county (Fla.) and be subject to electronic monitoring at his own expense.

The Orlando Sentinel reported that Zimmerman’s lawyer, Mark O’Mara, has said that his client’s legal defense fund has a balance of $211,000, which would more than meet the 10% required to put up a $1 million bond.
