Just a few days after Tameka Foster’s 11-year-old son succumbed to his injuries, the grieving mother is said to be planning a funeral. Tameka, 41, and her family are preparing to lay her son, Kile Glover, to rest after a horrific Jet Ski crash left him brain dead for weeks. On Friday, Foster, along with Kile’s biological father, Ryan Glover, will hold the service for their son at Atlanta’s Wieuca Road Baptist Church. The funeral will start at 11.
Atlanta’s historic Willie Watkins funeral home will oversee the ceremony. No further details are available, including whether Glover’s stepfather, Usher, will be in attendance.
On July 21 when news broke of Kile’s tragic passing, several celebrities reached out to the boy’s family to express their condolences. “I am sending out every prayer I got to Tameka, Ryan, Usher and their family,” said Russell Simmons.
“Sending my deepest condolences to Usher and Tameka Raymond..and to family and friends of Kile Glover,” added Eric Benet.
No word on whether any of the funeral proceedings will be made public.
