Mega Millions grows to $425 million, will it jump again before tomorrow’s drawing?

megamillions

Last week, we reported that the Mega Millions lottery had grown to an astounding $400 million, making it the the second largest pot in the game’s 17 year history.

Just last Tuesday, the pot sat pretty at $344 million but after a drawing with no winners, the pot was raised to $400 million with a new drawing set for Friday, Dec. 13. Well, for all all those who haven’t purchased your ticket, there is still time and you may want to reconsider as the Mega Millions jackpot has been raised again, to $425 million.

It may not be the largest jackpot ever won in history, which would be the $656 million, won in March 2012 by three ticket holders in Kansas, Illinois and Maryland, but it’s still a pretty pot.

Will someone find luck on Friday the 13th or will tomorrow remain to be unlucky?

Tuesday’s numbers were: 5, 12, 22, 41, 65 and the mega ball 13. – ruthie hawkins/@ruubabie
