Twitter reacts to racist CNN report on ‘dark-skinned’ suspects in Boston bombings

John King of CNN, broke a major rule in journalism during a live broadcast about the bombings in Boston. Without getting all of his facts, King blurted out an assumption that put many blacks who reside in Boston at danger.

During the broadcast King said, “I was told by one of these sources who is a law enforcement official, that this (suspect) is a dark-skinned male.” Hours later it was announced that the primary suspects in the bombings are two white males.

Glenn Beck also made false statement on his radio show by saying the suspects were Middle Eastern. The announcing of race in the scenario may have led to an attack on a Muslim woman in the Boston area.

The police continue to search for the suspects.
