Vh1′s Divas Celebrate Soul Red Carpet Arrivals 2011: Pinktastic, Straddlin’ the Fence, Chile Bye!
Filming for “Vh1 Divas Celebrates Soul” at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City wrapped on Friday, Dec. 18. The show airs Monday, Dec. 19 at 9 p.m. EST, so I don’t yet have a recap of the show, but I do have my thoughts on the red carpet arrivals that looked a tad bit lackluster. What in the world were these celebrities thinking? Everyone looks tired, un-enthused, jet lagged and worse. And while, I don’t have a favorite look, if I had to pick someone that looked half way decent, I’d have to go with singer Estelle. Lets get started with who looked Pinktastic, who straddled the fence, and which celebrities get a ‘chile bye!’

- Estelle is VERY safe here, I like the gold but not feeling the purple mushroom hairdo.
- Sherri Shepherd, you can’t go wrong in all black.
- “MobWives” Carla Facciolo looks nice.

- Mary J Blige, I just don’t know and the length hmm? Tattoos just cheapens a look I tell yah!
- Jill Scott this would have been a Pinktastic if she would have just thrown that blue Bishop Don Juan pimp coat to her publicist!
- Marsha Ambrosius, if you’re short waisted, wear more of an A-line or poof.

- I like La La Vazquez, I really do, but this dress looks like she went to audition for “Skating with The Stars” and then found out it was cancelled, then she said, “well let me wear this to the Vh1′s event.”
- Newest cast member of “MobWives” Angela ‘Big Ang’ Raiola. She looks like she boosted (stole) from Steven Tyler’s closet!
- I LOVE Drita D’Avanzo on “MobWives,” but I’m NOT loving this outfit or granny shoes/accessories of choice!
- Dolly Parton Halloween was two months ago baby and Elvira said she wants her costume back!
- Jessie J, I don’t know you sweetie, but you are giving us Queen of the Nile and Nefertiti and it’s not working! #icant
