City of Riverdale honors Riverdale High School principal Jamille Miller-Brown

The city of Riverdale honored Jamille Miller-Brown, the principal of Riverdale High School, last night. Miller-Brown is a principal who strives for the best for her students. She received a proclamation acknowledging her success in increasing the percentage of high school students graduating on time from Clayton County Public Schools.

Sherry D. Henderson, Riverdale city clerk stated, “This acknowledgement comes from Mayor Evelyn Wynn-Dixon and the City Council for Ms. Miller-Brown’s commitment to excellence in education.”


The Georgia Department of Education released the percentages and statewide four-year graduation rates from 2011 through 2014 and Riverdale High School had one the highest rates in the county for 2014 at 66.7 percent. This was one of the biggest increases for 2014. Riverdale High School graduated 18.7 percent more students in 2014 compared to 2013.
