Teacher fired for ordering brutal beating of her student

Looks like all that sun and heat may be baking the brains of many Floridians.

Take this ex-teacher as the latest example of the Florida crazies. She officially lost her job last week after encouraging six boys to attack a classmate.

The seventh grader, identified as Radravious Williams, allegedly threatened teacher Dru Dehart in March 2013.

OK, the student crossed the line and should have been suspended or expelled.

But Dehart thought she had a better idea.

She ordered a group of boys to beat up the boy and “teach him a lesson.” They obliged.

Surveillance cameras captured the group of boys, ages 11 to 15, hitting and stomping the very classmate who imprudently issued the threat.

The boy who suffered the beat down later admitted that he “wished he could curse out teachers someday,” and his mother described the attack. “They picked him up, carried him, holding him by the neck, took him down to her classroom and forcibly made him apologize to her,” said Latasha Darrisaw, the boy’s mother.

“Her remarks to him were, ‘I’ve got my eighth-grade boys on you; you’re not so tough now.”

Dehart was removed from her position immediately after the ordered hit on the student; St. Lucie County school board officially carried out her termination this past Thursday, according to Raw Story.

“It’s like a nightmare,” said the victim’s mother, Latasha Darrisaw, “He’s not the same. He’s had some sleepless nights.” No word on why the teacher was not brought up on criminal charges.
