Full given name: Bubba Ganter

Current Project: Crossroads and also producing and directing a feature film, Checkmate

Where you were born/where you were raised:
Born and raised in Flagstaff, Ariz.

Zodiac Sign: Cancer, July 10

Why did you take this role?
I liked the script, and wanted to be apart of the 11Eleven11 Films. I like what is being done to enhance the film industry. Living in L.A., you don’t really see people helping each other without them wanting something in return. It was a nice change of pace.

Did you have any particular mentors or inspirations as a young actor?
My mentors are Terry Crews and Giovanni Ribisi who always give me great advice.

The one movie – attended – that you will never forget:
Star Wars

Your personal acting idols:
Forest Whittaker

Last good movie you saw:
The Avengers

Some films you consider classics:
Scarface, Jaws, The Exorcist, The Big Chill, and The Five Heartbeats

Performer you would drop everything to go see:
I can’t say anyone at this time.

Pop culture guilty pleasure:
Museums and aquariums

Favorite cities:
Boston, New York, Melbourne Australia, and Nassau Bahamas

First CD/Tape/LP you owned:
The Jackson Five

Moment you knew you wanted to perform for a living:
I knew when I was a child, around three-years-old.

Worst flubbed line/missed cue/onstage mishap:
It was during the Crossroads filming. I was getting shot as I ran; so as I was falling face first on the ground I passed gas really loud during complete silence.

Most challenging role you have played:
Playing C.J. Memphis in the stage production of “A Soldier Story,” I had to do a Mississippi country boy southern drawl and play naive. Coming from the west, and [being] college educated, that was rough.

Worst job you ever had:
I had the worse time while filming Our Family Wedding. It reached a point where I had to call the union in.

Career you would want if not a performer:
A firefighter

Three things you can’t live without:
I can’t live without my phone, Dallas Cowboys, and my laptop.
