An $80,000 Barbie for Blue Ivy

As the eyes of the world focused on the Golden Globes, news of Blue Ivy’s lavish $200,000 birthday party blazed the gossip sphere like a wildfire.

Friends and family of Blue Ivy were treated to concert tickets and pure gold pens with “Blue Ivy” stamped on them. The decor was accentuated with delicate pink and white roses ( worth $95,000), and for the children, princess costumes, jewelry, and party favors racked up $30,000 in party invoices.

A source who attended the party told the European media, “They work hard for their money and the first thing they want to spend it on is their baby girl.”

Beyoncé, 31 and Jay-Z, 43, raked in $78 million in 2012 and were declared to be the world’s highest paid celebrity couple.

The couple gave Blue Ivy a diamond-drenched $80,000 Barbie doll for her birthday.

Blue Ivy joins a growing list of celebrity children who enjoy lavish birthday parties and gifts, take a look.

Completely ridiculous! I hope this story is exaggerated. An $80,000 diamond-drenched white Barbie? Is that what every little Black girl will want? Come on. This is a joke, right?

I understand they are rich, but what’s with the $80K barbie doll for a one year-old? It looks dangerous and is a ridiculous gift! How abssurd!
