DJ, Recording Artist

The DJ is as important to hip-hop music and culture as the MC. Newcomer Brannu has mastered both elements of hip-hop, and is now eager to show the world what he can do.

“I’m an all-around entertainer, DJ, producer and artist,” he shares. “I’m working on an album right now.” The young artist has made a name for himself on Atlanta’s underground music scene and is now preparing for his breakthrough.

A native of Brooklyn, N.Y., unlike many of his contemporaries, Brannu didn’t move to Atlanta solely seeking to break into the music industry. “My intention was to go to college, but I decided to go with my heart and follow my dream,” he explains. “Right now, Atlanta’s a melting pot.”

The 21-year-old feels there’s a lot to love in the City Too Busy to Hate. “I’m feeling Atlanta,” he says, grinning. “There are different styles out here. I got a lot of positive things I could say about Atlanta.”

The young double threat is preparing to take on the world. He’s already announcing his arrival to the industry, and the world is taking notice. “I’m coming from New York City, here just to rock the party and do it for the people’s listening pleasure!” he says enthusiastically. “There’s a market for everything out here, so love what you do and do it from the heart. Eventually it’ll come across. It may not come across the way you think it should come across, but if you follow that path and keep going, God will direct you.” – todd williams
