It’s safe to say that Chad Johnson is experiencing one hell of a time with the personal and public downfall after being arrested for beating his soon-to-be-ex wife, reality star Evelyn Lozada. But after being fired from the Miami Dolphins, and losing his reality show and an endorsement deal with Zico coconut water, it appears that the only thing Johnson wants back in his life is his wife.
According to RadarOnline, a source close the situation says that Johnson has been desperately trying to reconcile with Lozada.
“To say this has been a bad week for Chad would be a drastic understatement,” a source tells RadarOnline.com. “He is desperate to win Evelyn back, so he feels he has at least one person on his team, but she is resolute that is NOT going to happen.”
The source claims that Johnson has repeatedly tried to apologize to Lozada, but his words of remorse ore falling on deaf ears.
“Chad has been tearfully calling and texting Ev, pouring his heart out to her and telling how sorry he is and how he has never loved anyone before as he loves her. But, it’s just too little too late,” said the source.
“Evelyn will not tolerate being cheated on and being physically attacked and she has washed her hands of Chad for good,” the source continued. “She was desperately in love with him and ignored a lot of warning signs along the way, but now that she has finally woken up, she will not be taking any steps back and will not go back to him.”
And now that Lozada has “finally woken up,” all chances of reconciliation with Johnson have seemingly gone out the window.
“Despite Chad’s pleas for a second chance and his assurances that he will undergo counseling, Ev is sticking to her guns,” the source claimed. “It is over between her and Chad. For good. Period.”
And we’d have to agree. Considering all that’s happened between the Johnson and Lozada, it’s for the best that they say a final goodbye to their clearly dysfunctional relationship. And, hopefully, they won’t end up like these other couples below who just didn’t know when to call it quits. – nicholas robinson
