Chris Brown Releases Video About Love Triangle With Rihanna and Karrueche Tran
It’s safe to say that millions across the world, including this writer, pulled in closer to their computers, gasped and then collectively did a death drop when Chris Brown released an intimate video of himself last night, called “The Real Chris Brown,” confirming his sordid, long-term love triangle with his exes, Rihanna and Karrueche Tran, whom he recently dumped.
The video, which runs for nearly a minute and a half, opens with a drunken Brown sitting in the back of a car as he spills his guts to his driver about fans not knowing “the real Chris Brown” or the reasons for the recent stress in his life.
As the video switches between black and white and color images of Brown smoking alone and partying up in clubs, Brown rips down his paper-thin walls of privacy and reveals that his stress comes from the fact that he’s in love with two women: Rihanna and Tran.
“It’s just, you know, when you share history with somebody… then you tend to fall in love with somebody else. It’s kinda difficult, you know what I’m saying?” shares Brown as the video cuts between intimate scenes of him clinging to both Tran and Rihanna.
“Is it such a thing as loving two people? I don’t know if that’s possible, but, for me, I feel like that,” he says.
Brown then laments his worry over hurting either Rihanna or Tran.
“I don’t wanna hurt either or. That’s me. I’m not trying to be a player, I’m not trying to be a dog, I’m not none of that, that ain’t me. My momma raised me differently. So, it’s like I just care too much,” he says.
After the video was released, both Rihanna and Tran took to Twitter to share their starkly different feelings about Brown’s revelation.
Well, that was certainly one explosive moment in pop culture and Brown’s video is nothing short of revealing, shocking and an obvious pull for attention over his relationship.
