In the Buff
Nudes are not only a classic staple for your nails, but they are utterly fresh in current nail polish trends. When hearing the word “nude,” don’t always think sheer. This year, we are aiming for barely there shades that are rich, creamy and, yes, pigmented. Make sure your polish comes in a high-gloss formula so you don’t end up looking like you have mannequin hands.

True Blues
Who doesn’t love a special gift in the little blue Tiffany’s Box? We can’t promise you the gift, but we can promise you the shade to compliment your nails. Think soft, pale, creamy blues to give your digits a splash of color.

Peachy Keen
This shade is hot all around this summer … from your lipstick to your blush. Peachy shades are complementary on all skin tones, not to mention it really brings out your summer tan.

Lavender
Purples used to be thought of as a color only worn by a child. But the right shade of lilac will have you looking chic and sophisticated. If your job is a little more restrictive, save the purple for your toes only.

Hard to miss top coats
Give your lacquer an extra edge with a “notice me” top coat. You can try it out with a striking, shatter-effect finish or a bejeweled 3-D design for starters.
