There were certainly no dull moments at the 23rd annual Trumpet Awards at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Center on Saturday, Jan. 24, 2015 in suburban Atlanta. The show kicked off with a memorable performance by musical legends ConFunkShun,The Bar-Kays and the Dazz Band, taking the audience back to the ’80s with hits like “Let it Whip.” The night continued with groundbreaking performances by Deborah Cox, Mali Music, Avery Sunshine, Mystikal, a few surprise guests and more. All of the musical acts definitely kept the audience dancing the entire show. Everyone who was in attendance looked spectacular.
