What do you love most about motherhood? 160 characters or less The African proverb it takes one village to raise a child is definitely true.  The women in my community assisted my mother in raising me. they were all my mothers. My mother along with these women taught  me how to love and care for family and community which is why I am now a mother and teacher in Bedford Stuyvesant.

What do you love most about motherhood? 160 characters or less  Motherhood has been a mirror; the relationship connection that has shown me more about myself than anything else. What I love most is parenting a sweet spirited child like my daughter Kai and knowing that through our relationship, healing takes place.  My daughter does just as much for me, as I do for her.
