High Tea with High Heels at the Hyatt
The Trumpet Awards high-stepping fashion show annually signals the start of Atlanta’s social season. The 2010 extravaganza delivered the goods and proved to be the best of it’s kind yet. Women from all corners of the business, culture and social service arenas walked the catwalk along with professional models to show-off haute couture in the elegant Hyatt Regency ballroom.
The fun-filled and of course fabulous fashion gala was emceed by fashion extraordinaires Rashan Ali and Fonzworth Bentley. Twenty-five beauties, whose accomplishments in their respective industries earned them high praise and the coveted crystal slipper award, were publicly recognized for their ongoing commitment to excellence. The Crystal Stilletto Award for extraordinary accomplishments went to The Honorable B. Katherine Smith, JP, consul general of the Atlanta-based Bahamas Consulate General Office. –roz edward
