Bill Cosby admits to drugging women

On Monday, July 6, court documents for a 2005 case were released revealing Bill Cosby admitted getting drugs, Quaaludes, to give to women. The Associated Press sued to get information and now the world has the answer they’ve been waiting for, or do they? Was the comedian incapacitating young women to rape them? Quaaludes, which are prescribed, are the euphoric equivalent to MDMA, aka Molly, which is an illegal drug. Even though Cosby admitted he liked using these drugs, he hasn’t admitted to rape or being a serial rapist.

Back on Dec. 1, Philly native Jill Scott came to Cosby’s defense on Twitter. She bashed detractors on Twitter and the media for ruining the embattled comedian’s “magnificent legacy.” Many felt she was shaming rape victims for not going to police and not securing a rape kit as “evidence.”

Earlier in that year, Scott received an honorary degree at Temple University, which was presented to her by Cosby. It’s the comedian’s alma mater in Philadelphia. Cosby has since resigned from Temple’s board of trustees.

Scott is singing a different tune today. On Monday, when news broke, she didn’t hide her disappointment as evidenced by her tweets.

“About Bill Cosby. Sadly his own testimony offers PROOF of terrible deed, which is ALL I have ever required to believe the accusations.”
