Joseline Hernandez explains using offensive gay slurs

“Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” star Joseline Hernandez is already a pro at ticking off her “LAHHA” cast mates with her silver tongue and fiery comments, but her foul mouth has gotten her in trouble with some members of the LGBT community who object to her using anti-gay slurs to diss her on-again, off-again boyfriend, Stevie J. But Hernandez now claims that she means no offense to the LGBT community, she’s just speaking, well, in ratchet Miami speech.

During a recent interview with Vlad TV, Hernandez discussed calling Stevie “gay” and a “fa**ot” and explained that her words were only meant to offend Stevie, not the gay community.

“We got our own rules. Guys call us b—hes and h–s,” Hernandez explained of her Miami roots, explaining that other words, like “f—t,” are just common responses to such terms.

“That’s how we talk in Miami and I’m trying to work on that because actually my brother’s gay. And I’m gay, I like women,” Hernandez said. “I don’t ever want the gay community thinking that I do that, being disgusted or hating the gays. That’s not even the case.”

Hernandez went on to explain that she’s wrong for using such slurs and that she’s working on erasing them from her vocabulary.

“It’s sad. We shouldn’t even be talking to each other like that,” she said.

However, considering the vitriol that she and Stevie hurl at each other on a daily basis, we doubt that Hernandez is going to drop any derogatory terms from her verbal arsenal anytime soon.

But, unfortunately, she’s not the only celebrity using anti-gay slurs. Check out some other offensive stars below. –nicholas robinson
