K. Michelle Denies Dating Ryan Lochte 

After the blogs were abuzz with news that a “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” star was dating an Olympic swimmer, the famed female in question is finally speaking out. K. Michelle, who caused a stir on Twitter after tweeting to her “pooh” Ryan Lochte of the U.S. Men’s Olympic swim team, is denying reports that she and the athlete are anything more than friends. ”K. Michelle and Ryan Lochte are just great friends who support one another,” said a rep for the singer.  “Ryan and K. Michelle have known one another for some time, and their relationship is nothing more [than] wonderful and supporting friends in each other’s career.”

Interestingly enough prior to Michelle’s statement, the reports were shut down by Lochte’s mother who told US Weekly, “He’s too busy! He’s so warmhearted that I don’t think he’d want to have a relationship with somebody. I don’t think he wants to get into a relationship. It just wouldn’t be fair to the girl.”

Prior to her denial, Michelle made some seemingly subliminal tweets from her Twitter account about the situation. “People will change up on you quick. A mermaid that can’t swim,” wrote Michelle.”It’s not hard to figure out who’s for u and who’s not. Just look around when the sh– gets rough, it’ll be u and ur shadow.”

With that in mind, could she have been forced by Lochte’s reps to distance herself from him? Unfortunately we may never know. -danielle canada
