For months, “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” star K. Michelle has been candidly speaking about her abusive relationship with her ex-boyfriend, MeMpHiTz. Since then, K. Michelle has been publically going back and forth with MeMpHiTz and his current wife, Toya Wright, who both claim that her accusations are bogus. Now, K. Michelle is sharing even more brutal details about the abuse she claims to have received at the hands of MeMpHiTz.

On July 6, K. Michelle dropped by “The Breakfast Club” on New York’s Power 105.1 and gave a detailed account of their dysfunctional relationship. K. Michelle claims that she initially tried to keep their relationship a secret from the industry as she wanted to be known for her talent and not her love life.

“I’m like, ‘Yeah, this is it. I’m on my way. This is my Tommy Motola. It’s time to go,’ said K. Michelle, who was reminded that things didn’t exactly work out for Tommy and Mariah either. “At least Mariah got a Grammy first before it fell apart.”

K. Michelle says that things begin to go south when she and MeMpHiTz began arguing over her career.

“It got so intense. Honestly, I never was saying that he was a bad person. I knew he had anger issues, but at the same time I also knew his background,” she stated, also acknowledging that some of his issues stem from the fact that he doesn’t know where his murdered father was buried.

Things violently came to a head one night when K. Michelle refused to hit the stage for a gig over technical difficulties.

“We were having a normal argument and it would get more and more intense. We were fighting about a performance,” K. Michelle recalled, explaining that she at one point refused to get on stage until a sound issue had been fixed. “He’s the boss, I’m already big-mouthed and it just got, ‘Okay. I’m tired of this b—ch.’ You gotta be real about it. I wasn’t sitting there innocent. I never said that, but I didn’t hit you first.”

K. Michelle then recalled the fight, blow-by-blow.

“I was smothered with a towel. You smothered me, you hit me in my head with a [water] bottle, I was bruised up.” she revealed. “It was nothing small; I was bruised up, I was bleeding. I think what shocked me the most was the smothering. I was climbing, crawling to get out the door.”

K. Michelle nearly made it out of the room before MeMpHiTz grabbed her again. “He did it again. He yanked me. I had carpet burns,” K.Michelle said, adding that he blacked out during the attack. “I was looking at him in his face, and it didn’t look like him.”

K. Michelle claims that the abue continued on emotionally as MeMpHiTz continued to harass her and even threatened to kill her son.

I wish I believed her, but something in the water just ain’t right here. As angry, aggressive and almost insane as she comes across on the show, I’m more inclined to think she was the aggressor and he simply defended himself against her attacks. I mean either way, its wrong. We all know its never cool to put your hands on a woman, but some women have left room for questioning with regards to that statement and she’s definitely one of them.

If I’m wrong, hell I apologize. But I don’t think I am. Not saying there was no altercation(s) between she and Memphitz, but her story sounds half-azzed and hard to swallow. I need the facts i.e. what really lead up to this attack. Clearly it wasn’t the first time and had waaay more to do with not wanting to go on stage. This was clearly more of a dish that got so hot, the lid blew off the b*tch and became this uncontrollable blaze.

Sadly, the only ones who know the truth are accusing each other of lying, so its left up to the jury to decide. Unfortunately for me, K. has not proven her case beyond a reasonable doubt, therefore, I find Memphitz, not as guilty. LOL! I mean hitting her in self-defense still ain’t cool man!

Sorry, but I am not convinced.
