Kim Kardashian and Lindsay Lohan to Share Table at White House Correspondents’ Dinner
Two celebrities known for partying, posing for pictures and not much else will be guests this weekend at a special White House event. Journalists, government officials and apparently Kim Kardashian and Lindsay Lohan will attend the annual White House Correspondents’ Dinner. TMZ reports that the actress who’ll play the lead in an Elizabeth Taylor biopic and the socialite-turned-social media junkie with a bevy of pursed lip Instagram pictures will share a table this Saturday. There’s no bad blood between the pair however, Lohan attended Kardashian’s sham of a wedding and Kim’s said to be supportive of the young, often struggling starlet. They are not expected to meet the commander in chief however, he almost never mingles with the guests.
At last year’s dinner, President Obama relentlessly roasted Donald Trump who made headlines for demanding that the president prove his citizenship and show his birth certificate.
Donald Trump is here tonight,” the president said with a grin. “I know that he’s taken some flak lately, but no one is prouder to put this birth certificate to rest than The Donald. Now he can get to focusing on the issues that matter. Like, did we fake the moon landing? What really happened at Roswell? And where are Biggie and Tupac?”
During the event the president will be roasted by talk show host Jimmy Kimmel in front of 2,700 specially selected people. Thirty-eight hundred formal requests were received for this year’s dinner. This year’s dinner is said to be more inclusive and will include lesser known news organizations. The move doesn’t come without backlash however, The Hollywood Reporter reports that a media exec griped, “They have to give tables to bulls—.com.”
