Kile Glover’s Funeral Attended by Singers, Reality Stars and Atlanta Dignitaries

The son of Tameka Raymond and Ryan Glover was laid to rest today, much to the dismay of  people dedicated to praying for the 11-year-old’s recovery. The funeral service for the boy who perished after a tragic jet ski accident, took place Friday in his hometown of Atlanta at Wieuca Road Baptist Church.

Rolling out was on hand for the service and noted that celebrities including Patti LaBelle, Fred Hammond, former Mayor Bill Campbell, current Mayor Kasim Reed, Ambassador Andrew Young and producer Jonte Austin were all on hand. Also in attendance were two of the “Real Housewives of Atlanta”: Phaedra Parks, who fulfilled her duties with Willie Watkins funeral services, as well as NeNe Leakes, escorted by her “estranged” husband Gregg. Kile’s stepfather, Usher Raymond, was at first rumored to be in attendance, but later said to be missing from the ceremony. We have yet to receive confirmation on his attendance. Kile’s biological father, Ryan Glover, was there.

Dressed in the traditional all-black attire and wearing expensive frames and red lipstick, Tameka Raymond stood by holding her son Naviyd, whom she had with Usher, while her 11-year-old’s casket was escorted to a horse-drawn carriage. Whether overcome with grief or just being a rambunctious toddler, Naviyd noticeably struggled in his mother’s arms and cried out during the touching moment. Out of respect for the sanctity of the event, the media was kept at bay from today’s services. Available for comment however, was Willie Watkins, the famed Atlanta funeral director trusted to oversee the body of the young boy. A video recap with Watkins is forthcoming.
