According to an insider, entertainment journalist Jawn Murray, the show features McCoy and  Jones detailing their relationship.

“He basically told her [LisaRaye] that he wasn’t sure she was ‘godly enough’ for his world, and she in turn told him he may not be ‘worldly enough’ for hers,” a person told Murray about a scene where he critiques McCoy’s church outfits.

“Pastors of L.A.” premieres this fall. -danielle canada

    Isn’t she a tad bit too old for the Bishop’s taste?

      FIRST Timothy 3:2
      A Bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behavior, given to hospitality, apt to teach;

      I can think of one Bishop who has had more than one wife so wouldn’t that right off the bad disqualify him as a Bishop if you go by the above bible verse?
      . Guess it’s okay for a certain preacher to overlook that bible verse while beating people up over other misquoted bible verses!

    Once I read my entire bible from cover to cover, Genesis to Revelation and discovered how much lying some preachers do on God nothing any L.A. Pastor does on a reality TV show will surprise me.

    Nothing in this show can be half as bad as how so many Preachers quote Malachi 3:8-9 to collect their wages, including putting fear of a curse on their members who lack the money to pay weekly tithes. I discovered that Jesus took all curses and nailed them to the cross, which includes the Malachi 3:8-9 curse which never applied to the those in Christ who are the Redeemed from the law.

    Col. 2:14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances, that was against us, which was contrary to vs, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his Cross:

    Romans 8:32 Since God did not spare His own Son but gave Him up for us all, surely he will also with Him FREELY GIVE US ALL things.
    (Someone needs to tell Bishop McClendon that we no longer have to pay God for his Grace, period.)

    Galatians 3: 13 Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree.

    Romans 10:4 Christ is the End of the law for righteousness for all who believe.

    So no it will not surprise me to see the flaws of mere humans even if they are have large mega churches.

      The tithe is based off of your wages!! In the Old Testament a lot of them didn’t have jobs like we do now so they tithed off of what they had, be it animals, crops, gold, silver etc. Read Malachi 3:8-12 carefully man can’t curse what God has blessed but you can curse yourself by not giving God what belongs to him which is 10% of your gross earnings.
