Ludacris Performs Hit Single ‘How Low’ at 2010 Honda Battle of the Bands

Excitement was in the air as thousands gathered to watch performances from the country’s top eight Historically Black Colleges and Universities marching bands. Radio personality, Ryan Cameron, was the host of the 2010 Honda Battle of The Bands, held at the Georgia Dome on Saturday, Jan. 30, 2010.
The three-hour showdown featured 1,800 student musicians hailing from Clark Atlanta University, Virginia State University, North Carolina Central University, Prairie View A&M University, Southern University, Albany State University, Tuskegee University and Florida A&M University. Because of their excellent work, Honda graciously donated $20,000 to the music programs of the eight participating bands.
Entertainment was provided by hip-hop star and fellow Atlanta native, Ludacris. He performed his new hit single, “How Low.” He even shocked fans with a throwback song, “Throw Them ‘Bows,” sending the crowd into a frenzy. The performances were outstanding- giving fans a reason to attend next year. –christian johnson
