The Miami Heat’s power forward Chris Bosh is deserving of a celebration, birthday or not. He played two games without his superstar comrades, LeBron James and Dwyane Wade, immediately after the Heat’s historic 27-game winning streak was snapped by the Chicago Bulls.
In the ensuing two games, Bosh, a former Toronto Raptor, took control of the squad and put up nearly 30 points — including the game-winning three-pointer — to defeat the San Antonio Spurts. He also helped the Heat give the New York Knicks a run for their money, keeping a close game well into the third quarter as the only member of the Big Three to suit up before succumbing to Carmelo Anthony’s 50 points in a 102-90 win
Bosh will be an important piece in the Heat’s aspirations for a repeat as the NBA champions. But with the playoffs still a week or so away, Bosh took a few minutes to celebrate his birthday with his celeb friends, including D-Wade and Ne-Yo in South Beach.
