Miss Lawrence Dishes on Season 5 of 'The Real Housewives of Atlanta'

It’s been six months since “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” wrapped its fourth season and left a gaping hole in our reality-TV-loving hearts. But, come Nov. 4, we’ll be smiling and gagging again, when the fifth season makes its premiere. And, though fans got a sneak peak of the season with a new video preview, series co-star and hair stylist extraordinaire Miss Lawrence is now dishing on the next chapter of “RHOA.”

In a new interview with TooFab.com, Lawrence explained that the show’s new cast members, Kenya Moore and Porsha Williams-Stewart, are supplying just as much drama as their more seasoned co-stars.

“Kenya Moore definitely holds her own,” Lawrence said. “For her to have this move to Atlanta and become a part of such a huge franchise so fast, she holds her own tremendously. Make sure you watch out for her.”

Lawrence admits that he’s not very familiar with Williams-Stewart, but he did share that she is “pretty nice.”

And, as far as the series’ lead star, NeNe Leakes, Lawrence admits that she — out of everyone — has changed the most, but he says that she has changed for the better.

“I think the person that has changed the most is NeNe … in a good way,” Lawrence explained. “NeNe has definitely blossomed. NeNe has done a complete 180. She really grew into the person she was called to be: an entertainer and providing a good strong foundation for her family as a woman of color.”

Leakes isn’t the only one that Lawrence is proud of. The hair stylist also talks about his friend and former “RHOA” co-star, Sheree Whitfield, and shares that he’s not sad that his friend is missing this season. In fact, he’s happy for her.

“I’m never sad when it comes to change. I think change is necessary for everyone. The only thing that I get sad about is when people move on and they have no direction,” he explained. “So no, I’m not sad that Sheree is moving on. I think Sheree has her focus and she knows what she wants out of life. I’m excited for her and know the future holds great things for her.”

Lawrence promises that season five is “going to be a really good season,” but you can take a look back at some of the best moments from the  show  below. – nicholas robinson
