During a recent interview with MTV’s Sway Calloway, “Love & Hip Hop’s” creator Mona Scott-Young and artist Missy Elliot talked about Chris Lighty, who was Scott’s former business partner – Violator Management – and Elliot’s manager.

Lighty, who also managed 50 Cent, Mariah Carey, LL Cool J and Busta Rhymes, passed away on August 30 of a self-inflicted gunshot wound at his Bronx home. –yvette caslin
